This is the first time a LeBron James team has won without him since March 29th 2016
Edit: Title should say since March 16th, 2016.
The last 13 games LeBron missed before tonight:

Meanwhile KD joining teams that won a whole championship without him and had a season with 73 wins.
Nah, KD definitely better than Lebron.

Cleveland Cavaliers without LeBron, March :
Cleveland Cavaliers without LeBron, 2018/2019:
I would call that a major improvement. Collin Sexton for ROTY, case closed.

I know youre joking but I feel a lot of the games Bron missed were schedule绝缘电阻测试仪主要技术指标d rest days where love or kyrie would also be sitting, especially getting closer to the end of the year (March and after) so there has to be an improvement

Wonder if had anything to do with him and rondo slow sippin some wine in coffee cups on the bench during the game
[–]iamgreeneggsandsam 604 points 23 hours ago
That’s pretty wild. So Cavs were , now lakers are . Nice
[–][LAL] Brandon IngramNotAWallabie 417 points 22 hours ago
I mean, it would be for Lakers if Bogdanovic didnt have veins colder than white walkers
[–]beezleboss1 65 points 22 hours ago
Uhh ackchually, kyrie had a 55 point game at home against Portland, and Lebron was out then. So make that
[–][HOU] Pat Rileymoreyball 156 points 22 hours ago
That was in 2015, I think OP only went as far as 2016
[–]RocketsWhydidideletemyaccou 1785 points 23 hours ago
Partially because LeBron is a fucking rock. Only missed 14 games since 2016. Damn! Thats crazy.
Most players miss more than that in just one season
[–]CelticsMHath 829 points 21 hours ago
A lot of his missed games the past few years were just scheduled rest days too, not missed games for injury.
[–]darealwolf 350 points 19 hours ago
That’s even worse because it means the coach actually had time to male a game-plan without him, and it isn’t a last minute emergency where the team is unprepared. They had time to draw up a proper plan to win yet failed every time without him
[–]Lakersflimsyfresh 767 points 23 hours ago
Were the chosen ones.
[–]Knickswhyallthefire 538 points 22 hours ago
The lakers young core all represent one aspect of lebron
When you put them on the floor together they become another lebron
[–]Lakersflimsyfresh 462 points 22 hours ago*
Lonzo - Vision
Kuzma - Maturity
Ingram - Potential
Hart - Heart
Zubac - Athleticism
EDIT: Changed Drive to Heart.

We even did it without LeBron. Easy work
[–]LakersLeRedditBryant 35 points 21 hours ago
Fkn trade that bum for A Davis
[–]KnicksEndQuick 285 points 22 hours ago
The cavs literally fell from conference champions to lottery team with the loss of one player. Adding LeBron also put the lakers on the map again. Fuck you Skip Bayless

LeBron is the best "floor raiser" in NBA history. That floor is most other teams ceiling.
A team that just went to the finals should simply not be in contention for worst team in the NBA with just one player having left the综合检眼仪HH-YG-100 team.
[–]Lakerstks91 53 points 21 hours ago
When you build the team and offense around his skill set its hard to adjust immediately when hes out. The Lakers kind of struggle with this too.
[–]ginger_banks 57 points 23 hours ago
Thats normal. The Warriors arent even .500 without Curry.

Once you have LeBron, it becomes incredibly difficult to play without him
[–]oakled[S] 183 points 23 hours ago
To be honest I think this is really just an indictment of the Cavs rather than anything else.
Heat weren’t as bad without LeBron and neither are the Lakers.
[–]Raptors BandwagonSleeper94 271 points 23 hours ago
I would call him GOAT but I dont want to trigger r/nba
[–]NBAfuckyouraesthetic 428 points 23 hours ago
Michael Jordans teams would win even when he sat because he was such a good leader and brought out his teammates killer instinct, making them get buckets via telekinesis... unfortunately Bron just doesnt have that.
[–]Pistonsijerkofftopcfags 118 points 23 hours ago
even when he left to play baseball his team knew that he would come back and cut their heads off if they didnt win
[–]Lakershenstobs11 114 points 22 hours ago
1st season following Jordans 1st retirement, Bulls went , had 3 all stars in Pippen, BJ Armstrong, and Grant. Pippen was also All NBA First team AND All Defensive First team. I always laugh when people say Jordan didnt need another all star like Bron in the form of Wade and Bosh.
[–]GameDesignerDude 126 points 21 hours ago*
Pippen is criminally underrated.
Horace Grant is basically what people think Pippen was. Support-level semi-star.
Pippen was Kawhi Leonard (ridiculously talented, defensive-minded superstar,) yet people think he was just "pretty good."
First team all defense eight years in a row. Yikes.
[–]HeatDydoDeChamp 34 points 20 hours ago
have to give some credit to luke for that.
[–] 33 points 20 hours ago
True. He isn’t a perfect coach but his job has been very challenging. Between the team’s youth, all the new players, the early season suspensions, and tons of injuries, it has been extremely difficult to get any kind of rhythm. It says something about Luke that the Lakers have been competitive in nearly every game this year despite that.
